Hello fellow geeks!
We hope you are all keeping well and doing ok. We just wanted to pop you a quick update, as we can officially announce that we are the winners of the Best Pop Culture Merchandise 2023 in the UK! We are amongst some of the country's biggest companies so to win this award as an independent business was absolutely amazing and a complete shock - I had to read the email several times for it to sink in.
The SME News Awards have been around since 2017 and celebrating small and medium sized businesses within the UK. At the start of 2017 small businesses alone accounted for 99.3% of all private sector businesses, making the sector the beating heart of the UK economy - and this is why it is so important to support the small indie shops in your town.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us here at The Geek Side. It really does make such a difference to know we are loved in our local community.
In other news, it's just 2 weeks until our annual Harry Potter birthday party! We've been super busy getting everything organised; from costumes, cakes, balloons, brand new merch and much more!
