Hello fellow geeks!
We hope you are all doing well and staying safe. It's been a long time since we've seen our wonderful customers - we miss you! While we're all at home with not much to do, we've been on the search again for Super Fans to help fill the time with a bit of fun.
First up is Gavin! He is a huge Star Wars fan. Let's jump straight in and say hello to him...

Please tell us your name, age and where you are from.... "I’m Gav from Shipley and I’ll be 39 on Revenge of the 5th!"
First and foremost, we have to ask, who shot first? "Han!"
How long have you been a Star Wars fan? "I’m not sure exactly, since I was very little. My dad had them recorded onto VHS from the TV and we would watch them nearly every weekend!"
Which is your favourite movie in the franchise? "Empire! Lots of action, we meet Yoda and begin to learn the ways of the force and of course the big reveal!! Rogue one is a very close second though."
Who is your favourite character and why? "I’m actually gonna pick someone from the Extended Universe, not sure if he’s cannon now but Bardan Jusik from the Republic Commando books. He’s a former Jedi who realises that the order has lost its way during the war and resigns, however he has developed such a bond with his troops that he sticks with them right to the end! I think he’s a great character who grows as the books go on and in my humble opinion becomes more of a Jedi than any of the main characters."
Would you rather be a Jedi or a Sith Lord? "Always a Jedi, although I would prefer the Grey Jedi. I can’t call myself a Jedi Knight yet though as I still haven’t finished my lightsaber."
What is your favourite Star Wars item purchased from The Geek Side? "My Wookiee Lunchbox! Everyone knows it’s mine."
What are you hoping to purchase next from The Geek Side? "Something from the new Mandolorian range, it is the way!"
And finally... what is your favourite Star Wars quote? “I am a Jedi, like my Father before me” I have it on the wall in my man cave."
